BICESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE: A free event will be held in Bicester Community College next Wednesday, March 28, for those interested in generating their own energy.

Running from 7.30pm to 9pm in the Lower School Hall, the event will include a crash course in renewable energy for homes and communities.

Visitors can also find out how to finance the move to renewable energy, including Government incentives.

Local examples of green retrofits will be included, and visitors can find out about borrowing a free energy monitor to help pinpoint domestic costs.

The event has been organised by Grassroots, a Bicester community action group, in partnership with Bioregional and Cherwell District Council.
