GARDENERS can save money on compost bins, wormeries and water butts this summer with subsidised offers from the Oxfordshire Waste Partnership (OWP).
Offers are available to Oxfordshire residents until the end of September, and gardeners can save £5 when buying a compost bin, a bin base and a bottle of compost activator.
OWP chairman Lorraine Lyndsay-Gale said: “Oxfordshire is a great composting county with over 50,000 bins in gardens across our region, but people are still buying more bins.
“This new deal means they get even better value.”
A 220-litre kit costs £24.75 and a 330-litre kit costs £27.75.
The OWP includes Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council. For details of subsidised offer, visit www.oxfordshirewaste.gov.uk.
