Event recognises Bucks unsung heroes
Volunteers who help keep the wheels of Bucks turning have been honoured for their contribution to the community at a reception in Aylesbury.
About 150 people attended the reception at Judges Lodgings hosted by county council chairman Bill Chapple OBE.
School travel planners, Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme organisers, Master Composters, and Simply Walk leaders were among the volunteer groups recognised for their efforts in the community.

Hide AdCllr Chapple said: “We’re very fortunate to have a huge number of public spirited people in Bucks and I wanted to thank them personally.
“They really are our unsung heroes and I’m immensely proud of them.
‘They give up their time, which is one of the most precious of commodities.
“They embody the true sense of service and community spirit.”
