An eclectic mix of music is promised at an outdoor music festival, with everything from vintage 50s to New Wave and acoustic offerings.
Festival in the Park at Brackley Park on Sunday (August 30)will provide music to suit every taste.
The festival has always taken a pride in offering a wide variety of musical styles and this year is no exception.
The event opens in the park at 2pm with the vintage 50s music of The Broadway Twisters.
The programme, which continues through until 10pm, will include the energetic, soulful performance of blues rock band Willie and The Bandits.
Also on the bill are The Mods bringing classics encapsulating the true essence of the Mod era; and a tribute to funk and new wave from the lively So ‘77.
Alongside these bands will be acoustic offerings from the witty Craig Papworth and enchanting female duo Wednesday’s Wolves.
Entry to the public park is free, but donations will be gratefully received on the day.
The intention is to create all the fun of the best family festival.
Bubbles, face paints and the park’s own play area for children will ensure youngsters have plenty to keep them entertained throughout the festival.
There will be lots of refreshments available on site to sustain everyone with a beer tent and food stalls.
There will be a chance to make a ukulele courtesy of Utterly Butterly, or visitors can find their inner artist on the graffiti boards.
Or there is always the opportunity to simply sing and dance through many happy hours of live music in beautiful Brackley Park alongside family and friends.
Please note, that no glass and no dogs are allowed into the music festival.
