THE Rotary Club of Brackley is hoping for a repeat of these scenes from last year during the third Brackley Wine Festival this weekend.
Between midday and 7pm, tomorrow, Saturday, Brackley Town Hall will be packed with wine merchants, many of whom are members of the Association of Small Direct Wine Merchants, alongside other independent sellers.
It will be a chance for wine drinkers to discover new wines guided by experts where quality, taste and flavour take precedence over brands and mass production.
Rotarian Trevor Davies said the festival adds to the richness and colour of Brackley life and was another way of persuading people to visit the town. The event is also raising money for Mind in Brackley and other Rotary causes.
He added: “It is a very similar format to previous years which have been very successful. But one of the key things is to showcase smaller growers.”
Entrance costs £5, but there will be one free ticket for any group of five, allowing designated drivers free entry.
