THE season of spring shows will burst into life tomorrow during Greens Norton’s celebration of horticulture.
Show publicity secretary Lynn O’Neill said last year they had between 50 and 60 entrants with about 200 exhibits.
She added: “The village hall looks absolutely lovely with all the daffodils and tulips. Public viewing is between 2pm and 4pm and you can have a cup of tea and a piece of cake, and a bit of a chat.”
Mrs O’Neill said many had taken their prize specimens into their green houses to avoid late winter frosts and is still expect an colourful display. See next week’s Advertiser for pictures of the show.
