A fostering agency with a Bicester office has received an outstanding result in a recent Ofsted report.
Fostering Solutions Ltd South, which has offices in Winchester and Bicester, was awarded the highest grade in its inspection, which looks into the standard of support provided.
The company’s Bicester office, in Bure Place, led by operations manager Joanne England, is responsible for 24 foster carers and 29 children.
The outstanding inspection judgement means the agency meets and exceeds expectations in relation to the young people in its care, helping them make significantly better progress and achieve more than was expected in all areas of their lives.
Staff at the agency were praised for the support they provide for foster carers.
Fostering Solutions was also recognised for protecting children from harm and promoting their wellbeing as being central to the practice of staff and foster carers.
Regional director Miquette Novella said: “The team at Fostering Solutions work hard to give the young people we place the best life possible, so to be recognised for this by Ofsted is fantastic. All of our staff receive high levels of training, which they are then able to pass down to the foster carers, ultimately benefiting the children and young people.”
