Grandparents climb for trust

CHARITY: A couple from Deanshanger are climbing the highest peak in the British Isles after their granddaughter was born with Cystic Fibrosis.

Mitch and Gail Canvin are preparing to take part in the Ben Nevis trekking challenge in September to raise vital funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Mr Canvin said they want to help improve research and care in the name of their eight-month-old granddaughter Madison.

He added; “The charity has offered support and information to our family, helping understand the facts”.
