A Calvert Green girl has had her locks lopped for charity in honour of a close family friend who was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer this year.

Hannah Freeman, aged 14, had her hair cut short at Paula Stevens salon in Buckingham, to raise money for The Little Princess Trust, which gives real hair wigs to children who have lost their hair through cancer treatments.

Hannah, who attends Waddesdon CE School has already raised an amazing £1,124 – almost enough to pay for four wigs – and is also donating her own hair to the charity.

Paula Stevens Salons is supporting Hannah by donating half of the money raised during a recent Wear It Pink event to Hannah’s cause.
