Cherwell Cats Protection is looking for an understanding home for ‘a misfit’.
Mark came to the branch because he could not get on with young children, who made him nervous and unhappy.
This has resulted in him being rather temperamental. Although he follows his fosterer around everywhere and clearly wants affection, he resists too much fussing and stroking.
Cherwell Cats Protection co-ordinator Pat Murdoch said: “He is desperate for love and attention but he will need a lot of patience and time before he becomes the affectionate, loving boy that he wants to be.
“Whoever takes Mark on will need time and patience to gain his confidence.
“He will need a quiet home with no children or other animals and someone who understands that it could be many months before Mark settles down and trusts his new owner.”
Pat added: “It is always easy to home cuddly loving kittens and cats, but poor old misfits need our help too, so please, give Mark a thought.”
If you think you might be able to give Mark a home and would like to meet him, call Pat on 07716 596212.
