Have your say about ways to improve local health services at a meeting in the Winslow Centre at 7pm tomorrow, Wednesday.

Run by the NHS Aylesbury Vale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the event will focus on out-of-hours services, Buckingham Community Hospital, Milton Keynes Discharged Co-ordinator, and Adult Community Health Teams.

The discussions will form part of ‘A Call To Action’, a national campaign inviting NHS staff, patients and the public to have an open and honest debate about the future of the NHS.

Lou Patten, chief officer at Aylesbury Vale CCG, said: “At the meeting, the public will have the opportunity to share their views about the local NHS services like hospitals and community services.

“We want their ideas about buying health services that are innovative and provide excellent, high-quality patient care despite the challenges facing the NHS like the financial pressures and increasing demand on services.”

NHS Aylesbury Vale Clinical Commissioning Group took on responsibility for buying healthcare services earlier this year as part of the government’s NHS reforms.
