Get Online at Winslow Community Library

The internet can make life easier in lots of ways – and it can be simpler than you think.

Winslow Community Library is running a Get Online Week from October 12 to 18, to help people get started.

If you’ve never touched a computer or tablet before, or you just need some pointers to make the most of being online, the library, in Park Road, offers free basic computer training and now has free wifi.

Library manager Claire Carpenter said: “We’re delighted that we have such a great opportunity to help people now that we have free wireless internet, and hope that we can show customers how to take advantage of free ebooks and emagazine loans.

“We run computer courses every Tuesday, and during Get Online Week we will be running a drop-in session all day on Tuesday, October 13, where customers can try the course before they sign up.”
