HS2 bosses will come to Brackley, Radstone and Greatworth to see for themselves how the line will affect people’s lives.
MP Andrea Leadsom will accompany the HS2 select committee on its visit to South Northamptonshire on Monday.
The group will visit sites flagged up by petitioners and will discuss residents concerns about the scheme.
Committee members are visiting the sites with a view to adjust some of the specifics of the plan, in a bid to better mitigate the damage caused by the high speed rail line.
Mrs Leadsom said: “I’m grateful for the opportunity this visit will give residents to raise the real and specific concerns they have about the construction and operation of the new line, and have their views heard directly by the HS2 select committee who will be able to decide on any alterations. As ever, I am keen to ensure my residents get the best possible compensation and mitigation with regards to HS2.”
