Jewellery and memorabilia stolen in Gayton burglary

Thieves stole jewellery and war memorabilia during a burglary in Gayton near Towcester earlier this month.

Between 11.55am and 3.15pm on Tuesday, December 4, burglars broke into the home in Blisworth Road by forcing their way through the back door.

Items stolen include an amber necklace and matching pair of amber stud earrings, an amber pendant on a silver chain, gold brooches, a World War 2 RAF flying helmet and flying goggles, and a 1920s-1930s silver jug which displayed a ship’s name.
