BICESTER residents have until Monday next week to comment on plans to alter access to the town centre.

Oxfordshire County Council proposes to alter the junctions of Banbury Road, Buckingham Road, Roman Way, North Street, St John’s Street, Field Street and Queen’s Avenue.

A decision will be made in September.

Proposed alterations include making St John’s Street two-way, and creating new roundabouts at the junctions with Queens Avenue and Manorsfield Road.

The roundabout at the junction of Buckingham Road and Banbury Road could be replaced with a three-arm roundabout by closing off North Street and Roman Way.
