Local artist paints Stowe gardens every single day

Stowe-based artist Debs Last spent 2015 recording the changing seasons and the play of light on the National Trust gardens at Stowe, creating a new painting every single day.

Each day she set out with a fresh canvas into the 18th-century landscape and, finding the perfect position, started work.

These initial investigations were then worked fully into paintings, capturing a moment in time.

The resulting 365 pictures are on display in the Stowe House Discovery Centre as part of the Capability Brown season until Wednesday, June 1.

House admission applies.
