Former senior intelligence officer Major General Peter Williams CMG OBE is giving another talk at Buckingham Parish Church at 7.30pm on Tuesday, March 28.
This time Maj Gen Williams will be talking about commando raids in Norway in the Second World War.
British Commandos raided enemy installations in occupied Europe throughout the war. An angry Hitler directed that captured commandos should be executed out of hand. The talk examines commando operations in Norway, the courage of the raiders and the fate of some of those captured.
Tickets £10 on the door, students £4, schoolchildren free. Price includes a free glass of wine or soft drink and nibbles after the talk.
