Man, 28, is airlifted to hospital after crash

A 28-year old man has been airlifted to hospital following a road traffic collision in Brackley.

The incident happened during this morning’s rush hour on the A43 when the patient’s car was in collision with another car at a crossroads.

Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) were called out to the incident shortly after 8.35am.

After being freed from the vehicle by Northants Fire and Rescue, the patient was assessed for possible leg, chest and pelvic injuries.

He was given pain relief and flown to University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire.

The crew arrived at the hospital at 9.30am. The patient’s current condition is unknown.

The A43 between the BP Garage in Brackley and the B4525 near Syresham remains closed.
