Man and woman left with ‘serious injuries’ after crash

A crash has left a man and a woman in hospital with a number of broken bones.

The incident happened at noon on Friday, close to the Bugbrooke turn of the A5 between Fosters Booth and Weedon.

But both drivers – an 81-year-old man from Luton and a 32-year-old woman from Solihull – are still being treated in hospital for ‘serious injuries’.

The man’s beige Skoda Rapid was in collision with the woman’s blue Ford Focus and police are appealing for witnesses.
