Man assaulted and robbed in Buckingham


A 20-YEAR-OLD man was assaulted and robbed during an early morning attack in Buckingham this weekend.

At around 2.45am on Saturday, August 25, he was walking along Nelson Street when a man approached him from behind and cut his back with an unknown instrument.

The man turned to defend himself and a fight broke out, but the robber escaped after stealing a mobile phone and a wallet.

The victim sustained a superficial wound to his back and a small cut to his face which required treatment at Milton Keynes General Hospital. He has since been discharged.

There is no description available of the robber.
