A man has been charged with a theft where food and alcohol were stolen from a Tesco store.

Ion Pirvan, aged 48, of no fixed abode, was arrested on August 18 and charged with one count of theft the following day.

It relates to an incident on August 18, where the items were taken from Tesco in Pingle Drive, Bicester.

Mr Pirvan has been bailed and is due to appear before Banbury Magistrates’ Court on September 3.
