Man reunited with watch stolen from Brackley pub

A man has been reunited with his watch which was stolen from a pub in Brackley at the end of September.

The Rolex watch, which has huge sentimental value, was in a handbag which was stolen from the Red Lion in Market Place, Brackley, on Saturday, September 26.

The handbag was later found in Herrieffs Farm Road, Brackley, but the contents, including the watch, a Hudl tablet computer, a pair of House of Marley earphones and some cash, was missing.

The watch, which is not highly valuable belonged to the victim’s late father.

It was found by a member of the public who found the watch while walking his dog in Bridge Street, Brackley, on Sunday October 4.

Police would still like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the handbag being stolen from the Red Lion on September 26.
