Have you been offered a second-hand trumpet for sale?
And do you recognise this man?
British Transport Police investigating the theft of an expensive trumpet from a train want to identify the man in this CCTV image.
The theft took place on Wednesday, September 10.
The 21-year-old owner of the £3,000 trumpet, who is from Lower Heyford, took the 8.15pm service from Heyford to Cholsey, putting the instrument, in its case.
PC Richard Willis said: “Do you know the man in the image we have released?
“We believe he got off the train at Burnham.
“The victim got off the train without the trumpet, but enquiries to lost property proved fruitless.
“If you have been offered this trumpet for sale, or recognise the man in the CCTV image, please contact BTP.”
