MORE than 100 runners are registered for the Buckingham 10K Run, organised by the Buckingham Ladies Circle and Buckingham Table.

Runners will be gathering in The Whale, on Market Hill, from 8am on Sunday to get ready for the event, which sets off at 10am from the Bull Ring. Anyone who has not received their running number can collect it on the day. The mixed-terrain route goes up Stowe Avenue and loops round Stowe Landscape Gardens before returning to town.

Heron Signs have designed, created and donated a new Start/Finish banner for the run. Quaker Cereals have donated cereal bars to be given out to runners at the end of the run. And Buckingham Boot Camp are providing water for all the runners at the end of the run.

Proceeds from the run will be split between Florrie’s Children’s Team, which helps families of children with life-limiting illnesses, and Puzzle Centre in Middle Claydon, for pre school-age children with autistic spectrum disorders.
