Rovers started brightly but Wendover took the lead at 17 minutes when they were given time on the edge of the box and hit a fine goal.

However within two minutes again a free kick played into the box saw the Wendover keeper parry and this time Adam Robinson made no mistake to score. Rovers were looking to turn it around in the second half but Wendover added a third goal on 51 minutes and a fourth after the hour. With Heath making some smart stops and Dom McCabe competing well in midfield, Rovers’ defence determinedly kept the final score at 4-1.

> Despite losing 4-2 at home to MK City, Preston GawcottU13 Pumas played their best match of the season. They were poised, confident and alert with Alex Lyenger comfortably switching from defence to midfield from where he set up Tom Cleaver to score Pumas opening goal.
