A Winslow mother of three has found a colourful way to raise money for her children’s pre-school.
Lacie Radclyffe will be taking part in the 5km Color Run Night in London in support of Treehouse Pre-school, which was attended by daughter Lily, aged five, and which Sophie, aged three, now attends.
Lacie, aged 24, is aiming to raise £800 to supply Treehouse with a custom-made ‘mud kitchen’ and a year’s supply of sand for the children.
During the course of the night-time run, which takes place at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, runners get sprayed with glow-in-the-dark coloured powder throughout the 5km course and at the finish line.
Lacie added: “Anyone who knows me knows I am anything but an athlete so I felt it was best to do something completely out of my comfort zone.”
Lacie has set up a Just Giving crowdfunding page at https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/lacie-radclyffe to aid sponsorship. Cheques payable to Laie Radclyffe can also be handed in at Divine Diva fancy dress store, on the High Street.
