The talent nurtured by performing arts schools in south Northants has led to another packed programme for this weekend’s Brackley’s Got Talent.
Melanie Coates, spokesman for the organising committee, said apart for three acts this year was a completely new line up for Saturday’s show at Wanyflete Hall, Magdalen College School.
She added: “We’ve got a couple of dancers, but the majority are singers. There’s a wide range, we’ve got about four bands, a couple of duos, and mixture of acoustic and electric guitar performances, a lot from the Rock School.”
Mrs Coates said with an audience filled with family supporters the annual event is always full of energy and excitement. Last year BGT raised £2,500 for The Youth Hub and Breast Cancer Research. This year all proceeds go the SDR4SEB campaign.
Tickets cost £5 in advance from Bliss of the Greyhound Inn, or £5 on the night and the doors open at 6pm.
