'˜Mystery shoppers' sought for county's hospital services
'˜Mystery shoppers' are being sought to provide comments on services at hospitals in the county '“ including the Horton.
Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wants to recruit people to gather comments about their experiences of hospital services to help improve patient care.
The CCG has developed the project alongside the Patients’ Association to encourage patients to provide feedback straight after a hospital appointment or treatment they have received.
People who have been recent patients at the John Radcliffe Hospital, the Churchill Hospital, the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and the Horton General Hospital, and have the time to help, can obtain an information sheet and ‘mystery shopper’ questions by emailing Jane Brooks at the Patients’ Association – [email protected]
For a print version call the Patients’ Association on 020 8423 9111 or write to OCCG Mystery Shopper Project, c/o The Patients’ Association, PO Box 935, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 3YJ.
Helen Ward, senior quality manager at Oxfordshire CCG said: “We hope patients will share with us their experiences of local health services. This will help us to identify problems early and to improve the quality of care patients receive. We are delighted to be working with the Patients’ Association on this project”.
Katherine Murphy, chief executive of the Patients’ Association said: “We welcome this exciting opportunity to work alongside OCCG as they implement creative ways of seeking patients’ views of the care they receive and use the patients’ feedback to drive up quality and improve outcomes for patients.”
