Primary schoolchildren walked back into to their classrooms for a new year this week under a banner made from 300 leaves.
The artwork, designed by artist Pippa North, is made from dozens of felt leaves which were crafted by each student at Southfield Primary School in Brackley.
It was unveiled at a ceremony on Wednesday after each pupil created their own multicoloured leaf in July.
Winchester House School volunteered the services of Pippa and Southfield art leader Jen North said was very grateful. She said: “They have been absolutely amazing – to give our children this exceptional experience with an artist. It was important for the children to come out of their comfort zones and be creative.”
