No mud, no vast crowds and no smelly loos, is the promise from a village micro-festival.

The fourth consecutive Tingestock takes place on Saturday, July 12, at Tingewick Village Hall, starting at 6pm.

Mike Trotman of Empty Room Promotions, which organises the festival in conjunction with Clubhouse Records, said: “Once again this year we have four great young bands for you, playing for over four hours.

“Combined with a CD exchange, splendid beers, wines and food from the Royal Oak over the road and free parking, what could be nicer?

“No mud, vast crowds or smelly loos for us.”

Empty White Circles, pictured, is exciting new five-piece Oxford-based band fronted by American brothers, Kevin and Sean Duggan. Mike said: “These guys open up for us so don’t be late – they are red hot.”

The Cedars are an acoustic-led group featuring the amazing voice of Chantal Hill.

The Rosellys have toured extensively in the Southern states of America, the UK and Australia. Old friends of Tingestock The Dreaming Spires cut their teeth in the USA and have toured all over the UK.

Tickets £15 on the door, £13 in advance from the Old Gaol, The Royal Oak in Tingewick or www.empty-rooms.com
