THERE’S a month left for Winslow residents and organisations to get their nominations in for the town’s Citizen Of The Year 2011 award.
The honour is given to a Winslow resident whose activities on an unpaid basis have contributed to the wellbeing of the town and its people. The activities don’t have to be confined to the current year, but may have taken place over a number of years, and the award is designed to show the town’s appreciation of their efforts.
Details of your nominee and what they have done should be received at the town council offices, in the High Street, by February 28.
Nominations will be considered by a committee in March, and presentations will take place at the annual town meeting in April.
