A rundown property in Aylesbury formerly home to the town's proud family-run Italian delicatessen will be transformed into a new takeaway after the previous rogue landlord's occupants were finally evicted last Monday (June 14).
Buckinghamshire Magistrates Court heard that landlord, Tariq Javed, made another property 'uninhabitable' when he let people live in unhygienic conditions, with blocked escape routes and trip hazards.

The premises and takeaway are being overseen by completely new ownership are job roles are now being advertised. Pepe's Piri Piri is seeking managers, front of house staff, grillers and cleaners.
The seven-year dispute started when previous owners of the property, the Montalbano family, started leasing the building. Previously they had used the site as a family home in the 1990s and as their popular Italian Continental Store.
The family claim that due to small print in the contract they were unable to seize control of who property was leased to, which allowed Mr Javed control of the site. But last Monday five occupants living there were evicted from the premises.
