Lionel Weston has organised Car Cluedo 2

Buckingham s second Car Cluedo event for families is taking place between 9am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, April 24 and 25.

Local man Lionel Weston, who organised the first Car Cluedo event in June last year, has now planned Car Cluedo 2

People can choose when they would like to follow the clues, as all they need is a Clue Scroll, which they can collect from the start point during the weekend.

This time, as well as some slightly more testing cryptic clues for the adults, there are also clues for the younger family members to solve.

The adults are tasked with finding the Murderer, the Weapon and the Room, as in the game, while the children are trying to prevent a crime from being committed, but they have to work out the crime as well.

Another difference with Car Cluedo 2 is that the route has been set to cover only six villages - but these destinations will have to be worked out from the Clue Scroll before departure.

Any donations on the day will be welcomed (a suggested £10 per car) which will go towards the organisation of the Cancer Research UK Charity Carnival on Saturday June 25 2022.

The parish councils of the villages concerned are aware of the event, and participants are asked to restrict any negative impact on the ambience, social distancing and safety of the areas visited.
