Grammy-nominated musician and meditation teacher to perform at Great Missenden event

A Grammy-nominated US musician and meditation teacher has been confirmed for a spiritual event coming to Bucks.

David Young, a visual artist from the States, is performing at the Great Missenden Mind Body Spirit Show, on Sunday 13 November.

The American artist, who performed on the main stage at the Mind Body Spirit Wellbeing Festival at the NEC in October, is in the country promoting his new album, ‘Love Wins.’ His 60 albums have sold over one million copies.

David will be taking to the stage at 12pm for a one-hour show. He is known for playing two renaissance flutes in harmony.

His music attempts to capture the soothing, healing qualities of Celtic-inspired acoustic music, which can be combined with meditation to bring messages of hope, positivity and love.

The musician’s performance is just one branch of the event which will run from 11am to 5pm.

Deer Spirit Events has put on the day out for free, also included is one to one readings, holistic therapists, retailers selling crystals, jewellery, arts and crafts, and other spiritual goods that can be purchased.

Held at the Great Missenden Memorial Centre there will be plenty of room to park and available refreshments.

Organiser, Julie Fenn, said: “Come down if you want to chill out with like-minded people, get some insights into your past and your future, buy some Christmas gifts with a difference, or if you’re feeling a bit worn out or low on energy.”
