Caribbean vocalist Kenny Bernard is back at Buckingham’s New Inn by popular demand on Saturday, February 23.

The charity event, in support of The League of Friends of Buckingham Hospital has been organised by Buckingham man Wayne King, through his charitable business, Wayno Promoions.

Mr King promotes local bands, artists and DJs free of charge on his website, www.waynopromo.co.uk

He also puts on music events for local people, including a sell-out gig headlined by soul legend Jaki Graham in November last year.

Mr King said: “I have been a Buckingham person all my life and giving something back to a very musical town gives me an enormous amount of pleasure as well as a fantastic night out.”

On Saturday, March 30, Jason Searle performs a Neil Diamond and Ratpack tribute at theWhale Inn.

But Wayno Promotions’ next big event is on Saturday, June 29, when UB40 tribute band, Rats In The Kitchen, will be headlining at Buckingham Town Hall, in support of Buckingham Pre-school Playgroup.

The band also cover hits by The Specials, The Beat, Bad Manners and Madness.

RDG from Aylesbury are the support act, and DJ Jaspa will be on the decks. There will also be a special guest to welcome partygoers on arrival.

Tickets are £22.50 from Villiers Hotel.
