Nominations are open for this year’s Thames Valley Community Policing Awards and the public are being asked if they know someone who has gone above and beyond in their role?

The ceremony, now in its 15th year, is a chance for members of the public to recognise the work done by their community officers, volunteers and staff.

Thames Valley Police want to know officers the public think should be recognised for their hard work and effort over the last year.

Anyone nominating should have an example of how they have exceeded what is expected of them.

There are seven categories and after the success of last year’s ceremony, being chosen as a winner is a huge honour.

The results will be announced in May.
