Bicester eco-town project leaders A2Dominion are inviting Bicester residents to attend a public exhibition to view the project’s masterplan proposals and to meet the team.

The planned eco town will be the first of its kind in the UK, and will occupy the land to the north-west of Bicester.

The masterplan will be open for viewing at the exhibition on Friday, December 6 from 2pm to 8pm, and Saturday, December 7 from 10am to 4pm.

Both exhibitions will take place at Unit 3, Pioneer Square, Bicester which is next to Coles Books and close to Boots Opticians.

Once the masterplan is finalised it will be used as a basis for the future development of the proposed eco-town

A2Dominion’s regional development director, Gerry Walker said: “Over the past few months, we have had extensive discussions with key Bicester stakeholders including Cherwell District Council, local business, community and voluntary representatives to develop the draft Masterplan. We are now in a position to share this with the local community so that their feedback can be taken into consideration.

He added: “NW Bicester is all about building a community, not just homes. It will provide the whole area with employment opportunities, housing and green spaces, creating a vibrant, resilient and sustainable community with environmental integrity at its core.

“NW Bicester will achieve reductions in waste and carbon emissions when compared to conventional new developments and residents will benefit from reduced running costs and the latest green technologies in their homes.

“We are encouraging as many people as possible to come along to the exhibition, learn more about the Masterplan and share their views.”

Anyone unable to visit the exhibition will be able to find out more information on the NW Bicester website,, along with a feedback form.
