ROADWORKS: The road between Brackley and Farthinghoe will be closed for three days from Friday. February 1, during work to replace a culvert under the A422.

A diversion will be in place using major roads to minimise distruption to nearby villages as the work is carried out.

The closure is set to end at 6am on Monday, February 4, after which temporary two way traffic signals will be in place for around a week.

A spokesman for Northants County Council said: “The work requires the temporary closure for the safety of the workforce and the travelling public.

“This intense and focused method of working was agreed to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum and maintenance can be done to the highest standard.”
