More than 50 cars were on display at the second Buckingham Classic held at Gawcott Village Fun Day.
They included David Sansome’s 1914 Ford Model T, Ron Jones’ 1933 Austin 12/6 Harley Saloon, James Beardon’s 1955 Cadillac and the latest Caterham Seven sports cars.
The car show was organised by Buckingham Rotary Club at the fun day held on Saturday, June 27,
and sponsored by SMS Diesel Services of Gawcott, who provided rally plates for the entrants and Buckingham Waitrose, who supplied prizes.
Rotary displayed a ShelterBox kit and tent which are used for disaster relief.
Buckingham Rotary will also be displaying the ShelterBox kit at the Nepal Aid event to be held at Buckingham University, Old Town Mill, starting at 2pm on Saturday, July 11.
The Rotary vinyl record stall helped raise funds for the Mary’s Meals charity which provides more than a million school meals each day to enable children to go to school in 12 of the poorest countries in the world.
Buckingham Rotary is also grateful to Ron Thompson with his wood pyro-engraving stall, who donated to Rotary funds.
