Explosive devices believed to be from World War Two are being detonated by the Army today, Wednesday.

The historic bombs were found in London Road, Bicester, last night and need to be safely detonated at a nearby location.

It is likely the explosions will be heard in the surrounding area as police work with the Army to dispose of the items.

But officers say these are controlled detonations which are unlikely to cause disruption to residents.
