Catch a performance of Shakespeare’s comedy As You Like It in the Roxborough Theatre at Stowe School on Wednesday, November 6.

The re-imagined production, by the critically acclaimed theatre company Transport, is stopping for just one night at Stowe on its UK and international tour.

A vibrant, touching story about love and statelessness, As YouLike It examines human capacity to endure.

Rosalind, the daughter of an exiled leader, falls in love with Orlando.

Separately the two are banished from their homeland by Rosalind’s dictator uncle.

In the wild depths of the forest, they find unexpected freedom and are reunited with friends and family.

In preparing for this new adaptation, director Douglas Rintoul researched experiences of exile and identity, working with asylum seekers and migrants from India, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
