Police are hunting thieves who stole more than 100 pregnant sheep from a farm.

The sheep, which are all tagged, were taken from a field in Foscote sometime between October 16 and October 23.

Police are appealing for witnesses but also urging farmers to remain vigilant.

PC Tipping from the Buckingham Neighbourhood Policing Team is warning against feeding livestock at field gates.

She said: “If sheep are used to being fed by the gate it makes it a lot easier for a criminal to lure them into a trailer, as they are already at the entrance to the field.”

If you have any information, call PC Sam Higginson on 101.
