PEOPLE from every segment of the community will come together for Brackley’s annual pantomime next month.

Writer and director Cynthia Hilton said: “Take 30 school children singing, 20 children dancing, marching and prancing about, mix them with a group of amateur dramatists, add a sprinkling of OAPs, and you have some of Brackley’s finest in the production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs of Brackley.”

The Brackley Players production will see the King of Story Land (Stuart Dawe) evicted to virtual reality after his marriage to the beautiful but wicked Queen (Jo Fraser).

Snow White (Isobel Coates) is also banished to the town of Brackley where she finds herself in the company of seven ‘dwarfs’.

Mrs Hilton added: “Her (Isobel) beautiful singing voice tells of her sadness at her predicament and her hopes for the future. A voice that was made for the role she plays.”

Performances take place at Magdalen College School, Waynflete Avenue at 7.30pm on Thursday, February 7 and Friday 8, with a 2.30pm matinee performance on Saturday 9. Tickets cost £7 or £5 from Davies and Partners or Keith Fraser on 01280 701501.

Sponsored by Brackley and District Round Table.
