A group of volunteers from Santander were given a day off from work to help Buckingham Canal Society volunteers with the canal restoration project at Cosgrove.
The volunteers worked together to clear an overgrown stretch of vegetation on the Buckingham Canal at Cosgrove, close to the A5. The canal society has recently installed a siphon system at the other end of the canal to keep part in water.
It is hoped that this will be extended to the rest of the canal in the near future.
