A charitable trust has awarded nearly £100,000 to a new science facility.
The Lillingstone Trust, a small charity based in Lillingstone Lovell, has agreed a grant of £77,572 to fully equip the Community Laboratory at the Royal Latin School’s new Discovery Centre – which due for completion this summer.
The trust will also grant £20,000 to fund the community science outreach programme for the first year.
The trust aims to encourage young people to study science subjects at well-established universities and to promote the study of science to local people of all ages.
