Transport for Bucks (TfB) has confirmed a £10 million budget for its road treatment programme over the next financial year.

Each county councillor was asked to nominate five roads in their ward they believe are most in need of repair. And this week the list of 57 roads to be treated in 2013/14 was announced, including five in the Advertiser and Review area.

In the Buckingham North division, the A422 Buckingham High Street/West Street will be treated from School Lane to Addington Road.

In Buckingham South, work will be carried out to the A422 Brackley Road at Westbury from Biddlesden Road to the Turweston junction.

In the Winslow division, Shucklow Hill in Little Horwood will be treated from the A421 to the Mursley Road.

In the Great Brickhill division, work will be carried out to Whaddon Road, Mursley, from Chase Farm to the railway bridge.

In Grendon Underwood, the A41 at Waddesdon will be treated from Quainton Road to the western edge of the village.

To nominate a road in your area for treatment in 2014/15, lobby your county councillor after the May 2 elections.
