Man taken to hospital after incident on M40

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an incident on the M40 on Monday.

At around 6.30pm, an 18-year-old man was reported to have fallen out of a black vehicle onto the carriageway between Junctions 10 and 9.

The M40 was closed at just before 7pm and reopened around 9pm to allow for the air ambulance to land to take the victim to the JR2.

It is believed the victim suffered a medical episode and is currently being treated in hospital where he is in a stable condition.
