Police appeal for witnesses to fatal car crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 29-year-old man died in a car collision in Mursley on Friday afternoon.

The incident happened at 5.35pm in Whaddon Road, Mursley.

A silver Volkswagen Polo was being driven towards Milton Keynes from Mursley when it left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver died at the scene.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward and are particularly keen to speak to any other road users at that time in Mursley, or the surrounding area prior to the collision.

Anyone with any information about the incident should contact Sgt Richard Thorpe in the road death investigation team, via the 24-hour non-emergency number, 101.
