A CALVERT Green boy has tragically died in a motorcycle accident just outside Bicester.

Stephen Hemsley was killed when his black Sky Jet motorbike was in collision with a black Honda Jazz car on the A41 Bicester to Aylesbury road, near the Piddington turning, at about 10pm on Wednesday night.

The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Jazz was not injured.

Stephen had recently completed his training to be a Young Leader for the Buckingham and Winslow Young Carers group (YC2).

Following the accident, the road remained closed until 5.30am on Thursday morning to allow collision investigators to examine the scene.

“I would appeal for anyone who saw any of these vehicles or witnessed the collision to contact me as soon as possible.”

Anyone with any information about the crash should contact PC Dave Mitchell via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police or leave your name, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
