Police are appealing for witnesses after three men fled the scene of a car crash which left a front seat passenger in hospital.

A blue Renault Laguna was in collision with a blue Skoda Fabia in Upper Astrop Road, King’s Sutton, shortly before midnight on Friday night.

The trio, believed to be travelling from the village towards Upper Astrop in the blue Laguna, ran away from the scene after the collision with the Skoda.

Police say they may have got into a small red hatchback which then drove off towards King’s Sutton.

The front seat passenger of the Skoda suffered injuries and was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

Officers would particularly like to speak to anyone who may have seen the blue Renault Laguna or a red hatchback in the area around the time of the collision.
